This is my 4th Sanus mount, and I have complete confidence this will securely hold my TV. This one, as all previous, came with easy instructions and templates, and a webapp to help place the mount exactly where you want it. I love how these models allow to you install off center, plus slid the TV anywhere along the mount, to accommodate perfect placement regardless of stud location. Got it up quickly with no issues or user error.One of my previous mounts was the "Advanced Tilt" but not the "Advanced Tile 4D". You can still find the older one for about $40-70 less depending on sales. I almost got that one because it technically is still "4D" even though that term is only used with the newest version; both can be tilted side to side as they pull out from the wall and can be pulled unevenly to tile. However, this newest version comes out an inch further, thus can tilt a bit more. I didn't think that would be necessary, but I ended up being glad I got the newer one. With a 55" TV, you won't get much tilt even with the 4D model, so I think the extra inch helps and is probably worth the price premium in the end.I actually thought I'd get more tilt, so if you have a 55" or larger TV and are looking for a more significant range of viewing angles, look to a full motion mount. But in my case, I installed in our bedroom to the left of the dresser, which was centered on the bed. It gives the perfect amount of tilt to provide the perfect viewing angle from the bed, but not much more. As long as you know how much tilt you need, this mount does the job very well and I have complete confidence it will securely hold my TV.Read more

Works great for Wood stud mount. You can slide the TV easily with 2 people to get exact center you want. I have a 75" Samsung and we kept the TV on its table mount until we were ready to lift it onto the wall mount. 2 people lifted slightly on both ends and 1 person unscrewed 4 screws that held table mount on TV then it was an easy lift to hang to the wall mount in one move. I wish I knew which mount I was getting before I added the power and wire access on the wall to get ready for the TV. The ability to move one end 8" from the wall gives you just enough space to connect HDMI's

Been using tv wall mounts for awhile now and this is the best! Sanus continues to make good products better and provide superior support. I especially appreciate the simple installation videos.

This TV tilt bracket was the easiest and best quality I have ever installed.

I received this mount as a gift and used it to mount a new 55" Samsung TV. Instructions were clear, the template made positioning the wall plate simple, and all the hardware necessary for installation was in the box. Once on the wall, the ability to extend the TV from the wall made hookup of cables and accessory devices a breeze. The mount also made positioning of the TV at the right tilt and swivel angles super easy to optimize the viewing experience. The team at SANUS really designed an outstanding product with this mount!

Mount is greatEasy to installTilt, Swivel and Extend a 77' TV with ease.Just one issue...Sanus says its only 2.1" inches from the wall, I beg to differ...Mine with out spaces is just shy of 3".Now if I tilt a few degrees to one side or another I can get the 2.1",but the mount with no tilt is 3" off the wall...Not a slim mount.
