Great bed! Exactly what my teenage daughter wanted. The upholstery is nice. Took a little bit to put the storage drawer together and the wooden slats but seems quite sturdy.

I'm giving this 2 because it looks nice. However, the quality is not what I would have expected for the price we paid. Within a month or so of use, the middle beam broke similar to how some other reviewers have mentioned. It cost about $200 to get it fixed and upgraded with metal parts so this wouldn't happen again. Overall I would have preferred to spend more and get one of better quality instead of cheap pine wood. The bottom of the drawer is also a piece of wood that is paper-thin and not very strong so it requires a bit of care.

Reviewing after using for 5 months. Had high hopes for this bed frame as I liked the style and was really excited about the storage drawer; unfortunately in hindsight this would be a pass due to poor quality. Short summary: ~120-lb female, calm/inactive single sleeper, but the bed slats have to be fixed about every 2 weeks. Save yourself the trouble unless you're willing to reinforce the base with other materials.Assembly: Instructions were fairly clear to follow, and it took two people about 3-4 hours to build. The slats assembly was the most tedious part. Two of the base support pieces provided were not quite long enough to fully span the width of the bed so we laid them in place for support but were unable to nail them in.Use/Sleep Experience: The slat system sucks, or maybe it's the cheap quality of the wood. First week of sleeping on the bed was fine, and I thought maybe the previous poor reviews were due to the buyers' specific circumstances (weight, nighttime activities, etc.). But by the second or third week, I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of a slat falling out of its holder and hitting the floor. Then another and another, until my mattress was sinking in the area where slats should have been supporting but were all out of their holders. Moved the mattress aside and reassembled the slats back into their places, and it'd be fine for about 2-3 weeks before slats would fall out again so I'm literally fixing the bed/slats every 2-3 weeks. Now 5 months later, the central vertical base piece that all of the slats/slat holders are attached to is also starting to show signs of splitting. With the rapid rate of deterioration, I wouldn't be surprised if it gave out from under me one of these days. Another observation: since I'm moving the mattress fairly often to repair the slats, I noticed the underside of this bed collects/traps a lot of dust.

I am sorry to say that I'm very disappointed. I'd like my money back. The bamboo slats do not support a 350 lb man. I had checked the weight limit (my husband is about 350 lbs - I believe it said 500) The first night he turned over, the center "supports" under the bed flipped over. He's now sleeping on the mattress on the floor until he can build his own better supports under the bed. He will probably also have to put a sheet of plywood over the frame (at a cost of maybe $150)-whatever we can do to make it stable. It looks nice, but not working at present!

Drawers

A cluttered bedroom is not pleasing and relaxing at all. Sometimes, though your things are well-organized, seeing them still makes your space crowded. Two options are available: throw away your stuff or upgrade your regular bed into a drawer or storage bed. For sure, you will choose the latter, right?

Space-saving and multifunctional, drawer beds can make you feel like you don't need shelves and cabinets anymore. They come with 2 drawers, 4 drawers, 2 full and 2 half drawers, or end drawers built in the bed frame. Full ottoman and half ottoman are also available, where the entire bed offers hidden storage space. Drawer beds can also benefit your stuff since they are hidden, they won't accumulate dust. Finding them can also be easy for you because you have just one place to look at. After all, a tidy room can make your sleep better and more comfortable. Storage Included

When your bedroom space is small storage can be the biggest challenge you will encounter. Your closet could be a solution but not big enough to pack so many clothes. Well, you may want to buy a bigger cabinet, but you don’t want to pack so many dressers and cabinets into your space that it feels clunky and crowded. Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress. Ultimately, your choice will come down to what's most convenient for you.
