I'm 6'0. 200 pounds, but at no point was am I afraid it will break. it's very well made.I personally made my own latter to get in and out because it's easier. and it has enough room that I can set my computer and gaming chair up under it.

The delivery was really well they followed the instructions on it's on where to leave the package. It was super easy to put together. Indefinitely it definitely made a lot of space in my son's room and the measurements were perfect to fit the TV underneath the period I am extremely happy with the bed however it is a little wobbly but I suppose that's due to the height of the bed and the stability of it.

Got this for my daughter, as she wanted to have sleepovers. This bed is well constructed, easy to assemble, and does not squeak. The slats are spaced so not to require a bunk board, so that's a bonus. I'm 320lb and the bottom bunk holds me without issue. Great bed!

Easy to assemble ladders could be mounted on either side or corner just have to know the location of the side rails ladder holes so you could assemble as needed! Shakes when my 17 year old son goes up and moves around. Ladder was slippery so I had to add non slip tape from Home Depot located in the paint department. Adds square footage to the bedroom!

Kid loves it, we put a good mattress in it so it's comfortable. It's sturdy enough on it's own but if you attach it to a wall it's very sturdy. Looks good, easy to assemble.

It was very easy to assemble, i did have to cut the height alittle because it was too tall for my room specifically, but i was able to fit two desks under it, and i did have to add poole noodles and duck tape to the ladders because it hurts to climb up, overall very sturdy and good, im 5'9 and weigh 200lbs, dont feel like im going to fall at all.

Can a Xl twin mattress fit this bed?
I'm not sure. I bought my boys regular size twin mattress. They fit length and width perfectly. Our 2nd set of bunk beds, my boyfriend order his children's mattress, twin size as well and they seem smaller. But I'm pretty sure my boys bed are regular size.

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Black is known to amplify small spaces and also set the right mood in your bedroom space. A black colored bed makes your bedroom fell more intimate and special in ways that you could have never imagined before, something that you would never achieve with any of those bright colors. There is nothing as important as setting the right mood in your bedroom especially if you are a couple since it’s the base of your relationship romantically. A black bed adds a touch of intrigue but still blends right into the bedroom décor colors creating a timeless look.

Bunk Loft

Sometimes, bunk beds and loft beds are often being used interchangeably. Don't fall for it. These two bed types have a difference. Yes, you may notice that they both have a ladder. However, a bunk bed has at least two beds stacked on top of each other and a loft bed, though a double-level bed as well, is only a single bed. Bunk beds are commonly seen in hostels, military camps, and dormitories. In addition, some of this kind come with a trundle or pull-out bed that can accommodate one more person.

On the other hand, loft beds allow you to use the space beneath your bed as a study or work area or as a closet. If the time will come when you decide that you don't need a bunk bed anymore, don't worry, you can convert it to a loft bed. Simply and carefully remove the bottom bunk. Depending on your needs, both bunk and loft beds are space-saving.

Metal

One of the most asked question when it comes metallic beds is, are they safe for younger children? And the answer is always, yes they are. One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. Metal beds are also highly portable since they are lighter than other types of bed, and in case you are the kind of person who love rearranging their bedroom setup you will definitely love the metal bed.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

Beds

A bed can be referred as a piece of furniture which is used as a place to fall asleep and relax. In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.

Plastic

With an average of 5% usage increase per year, plastic or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) fabric is probably one of the most commonly used textile for bed upholstery in the world, proving its versatility. Also called as "vinyl," PVC is made from 57% chlorine (from salt) and 43% ethylene (from crude oil or sugar crops). You don't have to worry if a certain style is available; a plastic-upholstered bed has a wide variety of design and color choices, which means it looks good on any color scheme and theme. In addition, an everyday use is not a problem for this type of bed upholstery since plastic is designed to be stain-resistant and antimicrobial. It also has a promising strength, durability, and flexibility that can stand distortion and abrasion. Furthermore, many bed makers prefer PVC fabric because of its long lifespan and resistance to water and chemical, making it effortless to clean when your favorite drink spills over.
