This piece is a solid 5 stars. Sturdier than it looks in the pictures and finish is a beautiful matte grey color. I did not put this together myself, I used The Home Depot's services. Totally worth it too!

Well constructed and easy to assemble. The 7 furnished bed slats per bed were insufficient so I bought additional 1 x 3's and added 6 additional slats for a sturdier foundation.

Instructions were clear and assembly was straightforward. Labeling on some of the pieces was not always too clear, but everything was easy to figure out. There were some missing bolts, but this did not stop complete assembly (the bed still works with one or two missing bolts) and the company was quick to send out replacement hardware. The bed seems solid and kids love it. I would buy it again if I needed another bunk.

Bought this for my 6 yr old son and someday will share the room with his baby brother. Very sturdy, looks great in his room. I shopped around a lot, and this is the best value compared to other sites. Very pleased, and would highly recommend! Bought twin Linenspa mattresses to go with it, they fit perfect.

Very good product except the time to assemble was greater than expected. It took 2/3 people several hours! There are not enough support slats! One broke right after assembled and mattress added. The slats are very flimsy. I bought extras for more support! Overall the beds are just very good and not excellent!

Good overall. The color was more mahogany than brown (I was thinking it would be a dark walnut color). All of the bed frame screws have to be manually fitted using an Allen wrench (lots of work!). However, I was eventually able to put this together by myself, and I am satisfied with that.

The slats are way too small- I had to use slats from a different old bunk bed/build slats out of different wood pieces. I had to make 2 separate beds- not a bunk bed because they creak, and the slats are not proper. One of the slats from the company broke when my son first sat down on the bed

Does the total weight capacity of 250 lbs. mean per twin bed or combined total for both beds?
It might say 250# but the slats can break easily at 160#. They do not give enough slats. The slats are 7" apart and should be no more than 3". I had to replace 1 the first day. I bought more for reinforcement!
