Very happy with my purchase! Took one person about 1-1.5hrs to put together. Seemed to be very solid and the trundle slides easy even on think carpet. I ordered 8in mattress and it fits perfectly underneath with no blankets. You’ll need a 6in if you want to keep bedding on full time.

Bed is great quality and sturdier than I expected. Took a long time to put together but it wasn't hard, just tedious. Pop-up works differently than I expected but is sturdy.

This daybed looks very nice. It was simple to put together. There was a hairline crack in one of the slats across the back but not worth returning.

Looks good. Came in a timely manner. The screws for the back rails where to short just by 1/8 inch or so. Fortunately we had some in our house to use. Easy to put together. It took us about 1.5 hours. Seems sturdy. This is in a spare bedroom

Yes, the white will be restocked. However, it is currently looking like mid-November, at best.

Can you feel the join between the two mattresses when sleeping on this as a king sized?
It is two separate twin size mattresses, so I imagine you would feel the 'joint' if sleeping in the middle.

I am wondering if 8” Memory Foam mattresses will be too heavy?
An 8" mattress would be fine for the daybed. Should be no issue with the weight of it on the daybed or the trundle. Using it on the trundle will be borderline due to the height. An 8" mattress should work, but that is probably the thickest I would go.

Anybody slept on this as a king on a hardwood floor? Does it slide at all at the split while sleeping? Is there anything that secures the two parts together? Also how easy is it to raise the lower portion up by yourself?
I am unable to answer your first two questions as I have never used the frame. I can tell you the daybed and trundle do not link together in any way. As far as operating, it is relatively easy for one person to operate.

Come on Overstock, answer the question! Will the trundle take an 8” or 10”, or 12” mattress?? Im sold but need to know dimensions before I hit “Complete Purchase.” Thanks
I purchased this bed and assembled it. I waited to measure before I bought my mattresses, but I can confirm there is 8.5” of clearance between the bed and the trundle. I will likely buy an 8” mattress so I have some wiggle room. I’ve also considered putting the daybed on risers, which would give me a few more inches to fit a 10” mattress. A 10” mattress would still leave 5-6” of the side rails exposed

We purchased a 7.5in twin mattress and it fits perfectly. A 10in mattress could possibly work, but you would need to squish it down to get it under the daybed frame.

Is there a weight limit on each bed?
300lbs total each, daybed and trundle

As others have noted, this lacks information on how thick a mattress the trundle can accommodate. There's also no information on weight limit.
300lbs total each, daybed and trundle; 8" is the maximum thickness for the trundle mattress.

This listing should include the mattress dimensions needed to fit this bed. If the bed is 80 inches long and technically a king sized bed, then a twin xl mattress would be needed. And what height of mattress can fit in the trundle. Since those dimensions are not listed, it is impossible to know if a 10in mattress would fit under there.
I purchased this bed and assembled it. It is definitely twin size, NOT twin XL.

A twin mattress fills out the trundle bed perfectly. The exact same mattress on the daybed leaves a gap at the end of the bed. However, a twin xl mattress would probably be a bit too long for the daybed. A 7.5in or 8in mattress fits perfectly, leaving enough clearance to slide the trundle under the daybed.

Are there any pictures With mattresses on it? Wondering what thickness size mattress will fit under it.
The trundle will work with a mattress 8" thick or less.

What thickness of mattress will fit in this daybed. Is it extra long since it can convert to a king?
The daybed mattress would be a standard twin size. The thickness is personal preference.

What thickness of mattress will fit in this daybed. Is it extra long since it can convert to a king?
Seems it would not be a personal preference but a dimensions issue. How thick of a mattress will fit on the trundle would determine how thick a mattress for the top bed. It would seem.

In this modern age beds consist of a soft cushioned mattress and a bed frame, the mattress is usually resting on a sprung base, solid base, or a wood slats. Beds come in different sizes ranging from infant-sized cribs to small beds that can just accommodate one person, to large king and queen sized beds designed for two or more people. Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. There are different types of fabric-upholstered bed depending on the textile used and each of them has its distinct advantages and disadvantages. A linen-upholstered bed is breathable, easy to clean, and hypo-allergenic, but is prone to wrinkles and low stain-resistance. A velvet-upholstered bed is good for those with pets and can be dyed in rich colors, but high-maintenance and very expensive. A cotton-upholstered bed is abrasion-resistant and allows you to maintain a cool feeling, but not that stain-resistant and its fibers may weaken when directly exposed to sunlight. Hardwood woods are sourced from trees that have leaves and lose their leaves in the winter months. Types of hardwood trees include hickory, maple, oak, birch and cherry (among others). Wood from hardwood trees is usually harder and therefore more dense, as these trees tend to grow at a slower rate. Hardwood is ideal for use in indoor furniture crafting, as it is sturdy and durable. Most hardwood varieties are bright and beautiful in their natural tone/shade, but many take well to staining, finishes and paints. Walnut wood bed frames look incredible when paired with neutral toned fabrics and simple textiles, such as an off-white or muted blue color palette.
