Got it today, put it together in about 35 minutes and I love it! Sleeping on it tonight. Feels great. The boards don’t quite line up like I had hoped which is a bit of a bummer but for $126 I can live with that. If not for that board issue though it would’ve gotten 5 stars. South Shore if the boards aren’t lining up or you’ve got a fix for this please let me know!

Platform was easy to put together, instructions said it would take approximately 40 mins, which was about right. Put the rim rails on wrong and had to take rhem back of and turn them around but, other than that was easy. One thing, the box was heavy as h%@$..!!! Had to have help lifting it and getting it inside, so have someone on hand if you need help.Going to sleep on it tonight...!!!

Material is a little on the cheap side and not the strongest, pegs on the underside of the top of the platform come off way to easily and always having to life the mattress and top of the platform up to reattach them. Cant slide the bed set around at all due to weak material. Not bad for its price however I wish I had spent a little more and got something with better quality materials.

It was kind of difficult to put together but it seemed great at first until it fell apart a few months later while my husband and I were sleeping one of the long boards where the nail was screwed in snapped and he rolled into the wall. Was funny but sucked that it had broke in such a short time frame.

Not just mold but the little knobs on the bottom to keep it in place broke off two weeks in and it bowed after 2 months and neither of us are that heavy. Onto the mold:So I had it for about a year and moved from an apartment to a small not very well ventilated house. Regardless of the ventilation this was the ONLY item to accumulate mold. We had been using a humidifier during the winter because we had really bad allergies and once spring came around we were continually getting sick. So we decided to do a deep cleaning and we found 4 different kinds of mold on the bottom of the platform. It even seeped through the wood and got onto my mattress. luckily it had a washable cover and was good as new after a few washes. But the frame was so bad that we couldn't salvage anything and honestly didn't want to because of how sick it was making us

Build the bed, but the bed doesn't support weights above (I'd guess 150 lbs) on the outside rim of the bed. If you are careful and sit towards the middle, then you might be able to use this bed fine. A friend of mine (~200 lbs) sat on the corner of the bed (not violently or anything) and the thin 0.5" chipboard top of the bed broke. The bottom of the bed is solid and I have no real complaints about that. The problem lies in the top of the bed is too thin and needs to be at least doubled to a full inch thick before it would be reliable. I didn't return the bed because it was too much hassle, but I'll never buy from this manufacturer again. I personally don't like the unfinished but then spray painted black outer edges of the top pieces either, but for the price I wouldn't have cared much about that, if it had been sturdy enough for use.

My experience with this bedframe was nothing short of awful. For $200 you're not looking at top of the line but you still expect higher quality than this. I put the bedframe together in what was an arduous process of holes of different sizes, some things fit where they were supposed to, some didn't everything kept popping out and sliding around while I was trying to put it together. I finally shambled this poor excuse for a bedframe together and within the first couple of nights, I could tell some of the stabalizers had fallen out of the bottom and the whole frame was sliding around. Within 3 weeks, parts of the pressboard had started to chunk off and leave sawdust all over my room. I finally decided I needed to return this hunk of garbage and lo and behold, there's not a single box that all of the pieces will fit in, so $40 worth of boxes strung together with too much tape later, I was off to Khols to return the bedframe. I dragged the ragged box into the store with the help of a kind stranger that could tell the giant chunks of heavy pressboard was getting difficult to carry especially considering how long it was. I finally weasled it up to the counter only to be told that I couldn't return the bedframe at Kohls. What a joke. I can't very well have someone pick it up from my apartment as I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow (This is the last thing I wanted to deal with), and the return period ends before I get back. I can't take it to a UPS store because they don't have any boxes big enough to hold it! I finally told my friend I was just going to throw the whole thing away, a statement that was met with "Don't throw it away, give it to someone!". I wouldn't wish this atrocity on my worst enemy, so it went in the garbage. What a waste of time money and sanity this item has been.Read more

However with a clear bed you are assured that it will bring the best no matter what color you chose for your bedroom walls and furniture. A clear bed brings about tranquility into your bedroom, creating the perfect relaxing space after a long day at work. A clear bed may not be common in many households but it’s the new trend especially with the younger generation who are more into creating a bedroom environment that perfectly fits into their mood. When designing your bedroom interior décor and you have chosen to go with a clear bed you can let your creativity run wild since the clear bed will blend seamlessly no matter what color you opt for.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

Platform

You may be looking for a bed that is timeless and cost-effective and maybe your life quote is "simplicity is beauty," then you can swear by platform beds. A platform bed is a simple bed frame that has a solid foundation capable to hold any type of mattress without the need of a box spring. It also comes with built-in slats to allow airflow and breathability. And since box springs are unnecessary, you can save money if you decide to buy a new mattress.

Though simple, it doesn't mean that this type of bed is boring. Platform beds come from various materials, such wood, metal, and fiberboard. You may even have them upholstered for an added classic touch! Ideal for all ages, they are also available in different sizes: twin, full, queen, and king. Interestingly, platform beds are great for storing extra stuff since many of them come with drawers and headboard shelving, perfect for keeping your bedroom tidy.

When your bedroom space is small storage can be the biggest challenge you will encounter. Your closet could be a solution but not big enough to pack so many clothes. Well, you may want to buy a bigger cabinet, but you don’t want to pack so many dressers and cabinets into your space that it feels clunky and crowded. Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress. Ultimately, your choice will come down to what's most convenient for you.

The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Wood

A wooden bed is a very popular choice especially when you are out buying a bed for your kids as they come with a number of advantages. Such as: wooden beds are known to be long lasting. At one point in life most of us have slept in a wooden bed, plus wooden beds can be traced back in history to our Tudor ancestors. If you opt to get you kid a bed of his or her own a wooden bed is always the best choice, since they are much easier to clean and maintain since its common knowledge how messy a child’s bedroom become. What makes a wooden bed the perfect choice for your child’s bedroom is its ability to withstand everything your child throws at it. This is because wooden beds are known to be sturdy and robust no matter the environment they are in.

Hardwoods

Hardwood wood varieties refer to the type of tree the wood is taken from; it has nothing to do with how heavy or dense the wood is (contrary to popular belief!). Hardwood woods are sourced from trees that have leaves and lose their leaves in the winter months. Types of hardwood trees include hickory, maple, oak, birch and cherry (among others). Wood from hardwood trees is usually harder and therefore more dense, as these trees tend to grow at a slower rate. Hardwood is ideal for use in indoor furniture crafting, as it is sturdy and durable. Most hardwood varieties are bright and beautiful in their natural tone/shade, but many take well to staining, finishes and paints. The hardwood varieties offer a cozy, warm look and enrich your bedroom style. Hardwood bed frames are a great way to brighten your bedroom and enhance the overall look and feel of your sleep space!

Oak

If you’re looking for a way to refurbish your sleep space, purchasing an oak bed should be at the top of your to-do list! Oak is a classic, refined and traditional wood finish that is simply gorgeous. A natural oak finish is typically a warm cherry brown color; however, oak takes to staining quite well. This allows you to change up the look of your furniture to match your ever-changing style and design preferences. The simple grain patterns in oak wood are beautiful and understated; this gives you a timeless look for your bedroom that you’re sure to love for years to come. Oak is heavier than some of the other wood varieties, so assembly of any bedroom furniture is best if there are two or more people. Once properly assembled, oak furniture enhances the coziness of your bedroom and can add a rustic flair to your design motif.
