I shopped for months before I decided on this frame and I'm glad I did. This frame fits very well in my Vintage Farmhouse Design. It's been a long time since I slept on a bed with slats

Questions & Answers

It is approximately 12 inches.

HiCan you tell me how much weight it can hold? Also do I new to purchase a box spring for this bed? Thanks Darlene
A box spring isn't needed since the bed utilizes wood slats for mattress support. Overstock does not weight test items, we are sorry.

Does the twin size bed have a center support leg? I’m wondering if it only has the four main legs or if there are any additional support legs in the middle. Thanks!

Does the queen have legs in the center? I want to put a trundle underneath.
You need to look for a daybed that includes a trundle then. You ca clearly view middle support legs in the picture which are needed. Look for a different bed.

Hello - I'm very interested in this bed, although need a few questions addressed: 1. In the specifications it states "Slats create a platform for your mattress". To me, it sounds as if this is a platform bed and would not require a box spring - is that correct? I'm a bit confused at what is stated in the description and a reply to a previous question (Feb 8 2018) stating this is NOT a platform bed. Again, from pics, it appears it is platform and would not require a box spring. 2. Also, the spec says its available in full and queen. I did a search and filter to view only beds offered as twin. Is it the twin bed I'm looking at now? There are pics that display a twin size bed. However, unfortunately, it's hard to tell because the title of this product does not state if this one in particular ($) is for a twin size, nor does it state size when selecting color and quantity. I would assume so based on price, but would like to confirm. 3. And, lastly, is the white more of an "off white" color? My monitor makes it appear that way, but hard to tell.
It’s a platform bed with slats. Options are listed when size of bed is available. And the color well you will have to take that chance. Different angles and lighting cause color to look varied. Al in all it will be fine.

I want to be sure the twin size bed is a platform bed. I was slightly confused by the documentation. I would need professional installation by someone who would be willing to disassemble my present bed and take it away. It is in excellent condition, a nice style and resalable. Could you recommend such a person?

Will my 5yo son get stuck in between the gaps? Is this bed frame suitable for young children?
I would not use this bed frame for a young child. The vertical and horizontal bars are 6-7" apart..a big enough gap for a five year old to get their head stuck in.This is a beautiful, sturdy bedframe but is NOT a platform bed...if you put a mattress on the frame you will end up on the floor...you need a box spring under the mattress. I ordered a split queen metal box spring for 145.00 and it worked great.

Does the queen size have only four legs?
I DONT HAVE A FINITIVE ANDWER BC I SENT THIS BED BACK. I ORDERED THIS W/O REALIZING IT WAS A PLATFORM BED. HOWEVER, DUE TO A TERRIBLE FLOOD IN AUGUST, I DID RECENTLY PURCHASE 5 NEW KING SIZE BEDS. BESIDES THE STANDARD 4 LEGS, SUPPORT LEGS ARE DOWN THE CENTER OF FRAME. AFTER REFURNISHING AN ENTIRE HOUSE, IVE FOUND THAT IF THE COMMUNITY ONLINE CANT ANSWER THEQUESTION, EMAIL OR CALL THE COMPANY THAT SELLS THE PRODUCT. !T IS TREMENDOUSLY EXPENSIVE TO RETURN FURNITURE SO AVOID MISTAKES FROM THE START!!?

Will a trundle bed fit under
I bought the queen and there is a support leg in the middle of the frame. Additionally, this frame is lower to the floor, so I don't believe a trundle would fit underneath.

I am having a very difficult time fitting the slats into the frame. It seems everyone felt this was easy to assemble. The slats are too long and not bending enough to fit into the frame. Any ideas?
Make sure the wood curve is on top. The 2 slats need to be pushed ALL the way into the middle plastic holder. And lastly, make sure that the middle metal rail is screwed in so that the 'bumpy' part is on top.It took about an hour to completely assemble, and hubby HAD screwed in the middle bar upside down, so that had to be changed.

Fit your plastic slat holder thingies into their spots on the SIDES first. Put each slat into its spot on the sides and then have them meet in the middle and only THEN should you snap your MIDDLE holder thingy onto the bed frame.
