I needed a twin over queen bunk in a modern style, and I believe it does not exist. So I paired this with a low profile queen bed underneath and it works great. I have it in a rental that gets a lot of abuse. After 2 years of adults climbing up and down, it still looks almost new and it is holding up great. I highly recommend!

This exceeded my expectations... Makes the room look so much bigger, easy enough for a mum to build alone and it is so sturdy. Love it.

We love this bed. It is very sturdy and love the color. The flat steps are so much better than rounded ones that come on other metal beds. It came in one week and was very well-packed. The directions were very clear and it was easy to assemble. We added a curtain to the front to close off the bottom part. This was even easier than I had planned since the bed came with brackets that are intended to anchor it to the wall (which I didn't feel was necessary to do since this bed is very stable and sturdy). I used the anchors and turned them toward the ends of the bed and screwed in closet rod brackets from Lowes. I then cut the metal closet rod from Lowes to size and hung it in the brackets. We also added twinkle lights hung by command hooks under the bed and hung some of her artwork with magnets since the bed is metal. My daughter loves it!

I bought this for my nephews and ended up using it as sofa and my personal bed for about 6 months. I researched a lot before making the purchase. This particular frame is the best choice for overall quality and cost benefit. It's sturdy and built to last, while maintaining a good price. The other feature I like is where the stairs a re located, on both sides instead of in the front. And also like the measurements of this bed. It fits well for me, better than others. I am a tall guy and I like the space I have between my head and the top bed when I'm sitting on the couch, even thou it's the smallest overall height of all the bunk beds.If you are looking for a bunk bed that is a twin over a double sofa-bed, this is the perfect one to get. Trust me, I did a LOT of research.

Great frame! The full size carries me and my wife, combined weight of around 270 pounds. Like many other reviews, the stairs are painful and hard. I put pipe insulation over them and it's super soft. I also put the same insulation on the corners to prevent it from banging up against the wall. The frame does rock a bit while climbing up, but if braced properly against the wall or corner, with pipe insulation, it decreases the rocking by 60%.

I'm very happy with this purchase. It arrived in good shape (very heavy box!) and was pretty straightforward to assemble. The bed has held up well with two adults sleeping on it (together we weigh almost exactly the weight limit). Before purchasing, we'd been searching for reviews from adult(s) using various loft beds, so I thought I'd write one for others out there living in tiny spaces. It has been 2 months so far, and my only complaint is that it's moderately squeaky, which we considered somewhat inevitable with a metal framed loft bed. We have a full-size drum set underneath the bed, as well as some other instruments, a laundry basket, and a vacuum -- so we have found the space that was gained to be very usable.

My 15 yr old son is 5'8'' and 220lbs. He put this together himself and flys up and down it with ease.I am actually surprised at how good of quality it is. I thought I would need to add bracing, but none needed so far. Here is a NOTE for anyone not used to loft beds. We ended up installing a LED strip light under the ben above the desk area. It gets really dark there..even with a PC monitor shining.

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Black is known to amplify small spaces and also set the right mood in your bedroom space. A black colored bed makes your bedroom fell more intimate and special in ways that you could have never imagined before, something that you would never achieve with any of those bright colors. There is nothing as important as setting the right mood in your bedroom especially if you are a couple since it’s the base of your relationship romantically. A black bed adds a touch of intrigue but still blends right into the bedroom décor colors creating a timeless look.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

Green

A Green bed strikes a balance between the different colors you can find in a bedroom creating a more sophisticated and modern feel. Getting yourself a Green bed is one good way of adding some funk into your bedroom environment. Green also looks great on an antique or vintage bed especially if you are someone who is in love with nature. And in case you are in love with nature don’t let anyone stop you from living your green dream, go and get yourself a breathtaking green bed, and create a green paradise in your bedroom. Bringing in a Green bed in to a boring bedroom space spices up everything making your bedroom space look happier. If you intend to convert your whole bedroom into green it’s always good to start with baby steps, and no better way to do that than by getting yourself a green bed.

Silver

Sliver is a monochromatic color that creates a clean and elegant bedroom space. A silver colored bed goes perfectly well with a wooden flooring or any other dark wooden furniture in your bedroom. It’s also mainly used in bedrooms with bright blue accent walls to create a perfect environment for to relax after a long day’s work. To many people, silver is still considered a luxurious color and as a result a silver bed is definitely a representation luxury. Silver also has sleep inducing characteristics that will help you get more sleep, on average you are likely to get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. A silver colored bedroom on the other hand doesn’t look boring or washed up, but instead it creates an amazing bedroom with a lot of depth without even considering the contrasting colors.

Kids

The home is the training ground for children. It's where they learn and cultivate their values and character. So as a parent or a guardian, you play a big role in who they will become. Allow them to be themselves, to explore what they like, and to play with their imagination. Actually, you can start with their bedroom. How? Ask them what wall color they like. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! It can be a great bonding time for you and your kids.

A kid's bed can also be space-saving with its built-in drawers, which can be a way to tidy up their toys and books. Beds with bedside table, where your child(ren) can study and play with papers and crayons, are also available in the market. Of course, kids love to play. Make bedtime fun with tent beds, beds with slide, and house-shaped kids' beds! Surely, your youngster will enjoy both his waking and sleeping hours.

Storage Included

When your bedroom space is small storage can be the biggest challenge you will encounter. Your closet could be a solution but not big enough to pack so many clothes. Well, you may want to buy a bigger cabinet, but you don’t want to pack so many dressers and cabinets into your space that it feels clunky and crowded. Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress. Ultimately, your choice will come down to what's most convenient for you.

Desk

A bed desk is the most comfortable and logical way to use things like your laptop or tablet, or to use as a stable base to write things on. If you're the type of person that gets those great ideas coming to mind when you're in the bedroom - then the desk is an excellent feature to have because you'll be able to jot down your brilliant ideas easily and without having to worry about your writing not being easy to read! Another benefit the desk has, is you can use it to eat on without making a big mess of your bed! The bed desk is a versatile feature to have, and you will get a lot of use out of it. Once you start to get used to a desk as a bed feature, you will wonder how you got this far in life without one!

Metal

One of the most asked question when it comes metallic beds is, are they safe for younger children? And the answer is always, yes they are. One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. Metal beds are also highly portable since they are lighter than other types of bed, and in case you are the kind of person who love rearranging their bedroom setup you will definitely love the metal bed.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.
