So I decided to take a chance with this bed frame since there was only a handful of reviews. Was quoted a week for the estimated delivery date but it got here in 3 days (UT to TX). Well packaged and easy to put together. I was able to put it together in 30 min by myself.Very sturdy bed and the faux wood paneling looks real. The distressed effect on the metal part is tasteful (sometimes it can be executed poorly and come off cheap). I definitely recommend it at this point. I will update the review in a few months to give some insight on how well everything is holding up.UPDATE: It’s been 9.5 months and this bed has not shown any wear and feels as sturdy as the first day.

This bed was perfect for my guest room. Reviews are right this is a hefty and sturdy bed. I have Queen box spring 9" and 8" mattress and fits perfect so no unwanted space between mattress and headboard. You will need a bed skirt to hide the metal rails (bed does not have matching wood side panels) unless your comforter is long enough or you like that industrial black metal look.

I was worried about this, as it had zero reviews. I took a chance, and man am I happy I did. This bedframe/headboard/footboard is great. Easy to put together, sturdy (sturdier than Ikea), and looks awesome. The footboard isn't too tall, which is nice, and the headboard is the perfect height (for me anyways, I'm 5' 7" and it goes a few more inches above my head when I sit.) It's exactly what it looks like and exactly what I wanted. I would buy it again. It also delivered pretty darn quickly. All in all, win.

I really took a chance ordering this bed frame. It's hard to know what you are getting based off of other peoples descriptions online, but the pictures of this bed looked amazing, so I thought I would give it a try. Was a bit anxious waiting for the bed and putting it together because of a review that I read about he bed not holding much weight. I'm here to tell you... that is simply not true. My husband is 270 and I am 200 and we have the box spring, mattress and heavy memory foam and the bed is SOLID. Doesn't squeak, doesn't move at all. This bed is heavy and holds a lot of weight. It took us about 2 hours to put together. If you are on the fence about getting this bed...Just do it!!

Husband was surprised by how easy it was to set up. We both love the look and I really loved the way the headboard has the metal behind the wood slabs. It looks very nice and rustic/industrial. I will say we just bought new floors so my husband is a little paranoid the metal frame doesn’t come with the felt for the bottom of the legs so I’ll be getting some of that at the store today so we can move the bed off the blankets lol

We needed a bed with a high headboard and with plenty of under bed storage, but a combination of the two were impossible to find as a complete bed. I found this Walker Edison headboard and it fit the bill. it is tall enough (48"_so that we did not have to lower the paintings above it. It has two sets of holes for mounting to a bed frame in either a low version or the high one see in the photos. We mounted it on anOlee Sleep 14 Inch Modern Metal Platform Bed Frame to have the clearance we wanted for storage and it came out beautifully! There was a minor glitch with the. hardware that came with the frame, but that's a different review.

So we bought this bed because it's easy to tie things too it. And we have found that it is more than sturdy enough to keep the things tied to it in place, even if they struggle a bit :-) The weight limit has also been tested. You can easily get three or even four people on it, great bed for rough housing.

I purchased this bed after reading reviews that solidified my confidence. Typically, I only read 3-5 star reviews as I find the vast majority of 1-2 star reviews to be written by imbeciles. With that side note out of the way, I'd like to mention other reviews that claimed a machined screw hole was barely off, leading to consumer complaint. This is a result of tightening screws before assembly is complete. I implore customers to snug up all screws during assembly, then back off 1/2 turn. This action will eliminate alignment issues. Furthermore, put your mattress/box spring in place and assure the frame is true (squared) before final screw tightening. Now, on to the good stuff. This is a weighty frame; prepare to hoist the ~80lb box through your house to the desired room. Assembly was simple, though a bit time consuming. I am very mechanically inclined, and a tinkerer to boot. Given that I insisted on having each washer installed polished side out--and completed this assembly alone--it took me roughly an hour. I've seen reviews claiming one-hour completion, and I assure you they did a sloppy job. Take your time when assembling furniture to ensure quality work and longevity of the product.Upon finishing assembly, the frame was sturdy with minimal wobble. "Minimal" to me is less than a 1/4" top-side headboard movement when my 210lb self leaps from the floor onto the bed beginning ~2' from the frame.Everything went smooth, the bed is solid, no product manufacturing issues. So why only 4 stars? Ladies and gentlemen, this is NOT reclaimed wood, as advertised. The wood is convincing, in appearance, but any woodworker will tell you this isn't reclaimed wood after they scrape their fingernail across the grain. For that, one star reduced.Hope you guys enjoy the bed as much as I do. Remember: snug the screws during assembly, back off 1/2 turn, finish piecing together, fit mattress/box spring, tighten all screws. This method should be applied to any assembly.Cheers!Read more

TAKE NOTE!!!!! THIS BED DOES NOT HOLD 450 POUNDS. ACCORDING TO THE MANUFACTURER, WALKER EDISON, IT ONLY HOLDS 250 POUNDS.Love the bed - but I'm concerned about it's sturdiness. I didn't see before purchasing that the weight limit is just 450 pounds. My mattress alone is 110 pounds (16 inch latex foam mattresses are heavy). I have no idea how much the box spring is - but I'd guess at least 60 pounds based on my google research. My dog (yes she sleeps with me) is 70 pounds. That leaves 240 pounds for people. I don't reach that, but I'm no waif either. This doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room. I find that I'm very "cautious" when I lay down or change positions. I'm actually considering trying to adapt the frame in an effort to beef up it's capacity. So - not the fault of the bed - my fault for not noticing it before purchasing.

Looks amazing! Easy to install and read the instructions. The only reason for the 3/5 was one piece that's very noticeable (see pics) was damaged. My theory is it wasn't damaged in shipping either because the box it arrived in was perfect and they protect the parts extremely well on the Inside. I think it was damaged being assembled and they pushed it through anyway because both sides of the metal is bent (one side bent in, the other side out) and the wood in-between it is unharmed. Its extremely annoying but I didn't want to send it back and receive something worse.

Putting this thing together, by itself, is a breeze. That's where the breeze stops. To install this to a Zinus frame using these adapters :https://smile.amazon.com/Zinus-Headboard-Bracket-Set-2/dp/B0142WKA10/ref=pd_bxgy_196_img_2/133-7412922-3152502?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0142WKA10&pd_rd_r=6678412e-a10b-11e9-ae22-ada3503c77e4&pd_rd_w=k9MBo&pd_rd_wg=5CifI&pf_rd_p=a2006322-0bc0-4db9-a08e-d168c18ce6f0&pf_rd_r=JYZ8ATPWFZ628MCW5SYH&psc=1&refRID=JYZ8ATPWFZ628MCW5SYHas SUGGESTED by Amazon. Well, the brackets don't quite line up to the same holes, so it takes a lot of jerry-rigging around to get this thing to work. Not an easy task when you just want to go to bed. Not only that, but when set at the "Queen" height, this headboard actually LIFTS the 14" Zinus Queen frame off the ground. By maybe 1/4 of an inch difference.Maybe I did it wrong. But realistically, I think Amazon is suggesting combos that may not work out the best, and as a result, it's impacting my determination of the quality of each product. This is easier with two people, for sure.Read more
