I put this together with a little assistance from my husband. It took me about 5 hours from start to finish. It feels sturdy put together and my daughter loves it. I had one problem with it. The smallest drawer face was not centered, the drawer would not close. I had to take face of drawer off ( it was screwed on and glued) and recenter it. Otherwise construction was uncomplicated.

It's pretty much just like the image shows, and does have a ton of storage. The bed is at a height that would fit most homes, and the desk is very useful. The width of the desk accommodates a laptop and books or a bunch of craft stuff and space to use it. Fairly sturdy construction; other than the rail for the stairs which likes to wobble quite a bit. Other than the construction of it being a bit daunting, it can be achieved in 2 hours with 2 people, and has good instructions. The color is a bit drab, but it's also the color of primer, so if it doesn't go with your other furniture, it can easily be spray painted any color. Would recommend for 10-16 year olds mainly. It's quite tall for a little kid who doesn't listen and keeps jumping on the bed. And it's too kid like for older teens, plus there's a weight limit. Keep your future NFL linebacker closer to the ground ma'am

This bed has it all. Love the stairs instead of a ladder for.little feet. Lots of storage, and looks good. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because for the price it could have been solid wood, and it took over a month for me to receive it. Oh, & lots of pieces. So, get ready for a big assembly

We got the bed for my three old who is now four, so we have had the bed for a year and three months now. And I am completely disappointed because not even a year into using this bed all the drawers on the side have fallen apart. To begin with the drawers were always a little difficult to open and close because they were made very poorly with poor quality wood. We got this bed so it could grow with our three year old but now that he has four he can’t even use the side drawers very disappointing especially for the price that we paid.

We purchased the bed for my 10 year old. We ordered the bed and it took about 3 weeks for it to be delivered. As we unboxed the bed(which arrived in 4 boxes) we noticed that some of the pieces were not numbered. We we started to put the bed together we found out that the hardware was incorrectly marked for what was needed. One of the bottom frame pieces was broken out of the box. I had to glue and screw to broken frame. Other than the issues mentioned above, my son likes the bed. It has plenty of storage, Not worth the money paid for it.

Twin

A Twin bed also referred to as a single bed is one of the smallest bed in the market with a dimension of 38’’ by 75’’. Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

Drawers

A cluttered bedroom is not pleasing and relaxing at all. Sometimes, though your things are well-organized, seeing them still makes your space crowded. Two options are available: throw away your stuff or upgrade your regular bed into a drawer or storage bed. For sure, you will choose the latter, right?

Space-saving and multifunctional, drawer beds can make you feel like you don't need shelves and cabinets anymore. They come with 2 drawers, 4 drawers, 2 full and 2 half drawers, or end drawers built in the bed frame. Full ottoman and half ottoman are also available, where the entire bed offers hidden storage space. Drawer beds can also benefit your stuff since they are hidden, they won't accumulate dust. Finding them can also be easy for you because you have just one place to look at. After all, a tidy room can make your sleep better and more comfortable. And, yes, there's no such thing as too much storage.

Kids

The home is the training ground for children. It's where they learn and cultivate their values and character. So as a parent or a guardian, you play a big role in who they will become. Allow them to be themselves, to explore what they like, and to play with their imagination. Actually, you can start with their bedroom. How? Ask them what wall color they like. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! It can be a great bonding time for you and your kids.

A kid's bed can also be space-saving with its built-in drawers, which can be a way to tidy up their toys and books. Beds with bedside table, where your child(ren) can study and play with papers and crayons, are also available in the market. Of course, kids love to play. Make bedtime fun with tent beds, beds with slide, and house-shaped kids' beds! Surely, your youngster will enjoy both his waking and sleeping hours.

Slat

A good bed must always have a strong base. The slat bed design is a type of base made for a bed. They are a series of connected bars that lie across the width of the frame. The designs offer great support for the mattress, hence providing good support to your back when sleeping and allows good ventilation to the mattress. Good ventilation for the mattress keeps them cleaner and more hygienic. The slats are made from strong wood ensuring the durability of your bed. These bases provide good firm support and are a simple and cheaper option. The slatted design comes in two designs to choose from. You can choose from two types of slats - solid slats or sprung slats. They also offer a good leveling of your mattress, allowing it to last longer.

Storage Included

When your bedroom space is small storage can be the biggest challenge you will encounter. Your closet could be a solution but not big enough to pack so many clothes. Well, you may want to buy a bigger cabinet, but you don’t want to pack so many dressers and cabinets into your space that it feels clunky and crowded. Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress. Ultimately, your choice will come down to what's most convenient for you.

Desk

A bed desk is the most comfortable and logical way to use things like your laptop or tablet, or to use as a stable base to write things on. If you're the type of person that gets those great ideas coming to mind when you're in the bedroom - then the desk is an excellent feature to have because you'll be able to jot down your brilliant ideas easily and without having to worry about your writing not being easy to read! Another benefit the desk has, is you can use it to eat on without making a big mess of your bed! The bed desk is a versatile feature to have, and you will get a lot of use out of it. Once you start to get used to a desk as a bed feature, you will wonder how you got this far in life without one!

Plywood has many uses of its own which include making furniture such as plywood beds and it’s also used for other decorative purposes. A plywood bed is very durable as compared to other types of beds due to its sturdy nature.

Single Material

When you need to kick back and unwind on your own, you need a single-material bed. Single-material beds are an excellent choice for anyone that likes simplicity and practicality. Without combining materials, you get a clean and uniform looking bed that will match any bedroom. The con of a single-material bed is that they won’t stand out as much as other beds, but this can also be a pro as well, as it means they’ll easily blend into any room and not take attention away from other features that are nearby. The single-material is recommended if you’re after a bed for a minimalist setting, something that looks very simple and neutral - then you’re going to be satisfied by the single-material bed. Single-material beds also look great when you have two separate beds in the same room - the single-material look really gives the room a strong, matching and consistent appearance.

In order to incorporate that classic style into your bedroom you should ensure that your bedroom has the needed amount of space as we all know any luxurious looking bedroom should have that feeling of more floor space.
