Per my husband who assembled it ... the directions were not very clear send he and a buddy ended up winging it halfway through. They are decently handy so they could figure it out. But from my point if view it's super cute for my toddler who we are trying to transition into her own bed. I'm not worried about her falling out if it. It is a twin bed size/mattess fyi.

Definitely was worth it when put together. Transition my 2 year old from her crib.Instructions are not very clear.Boards are not labeled well.Put together wrong a few times due to instructions not being clear. Really takes some critical thinking to put together. It’s actually pretty sturdy.

Extremely cute and very easy to assemble.... BUT go get better bolts, especially the longest ones. The ones that it comes with are very cheap and strip super easy. Also spray each pre drilled hole with some cooking spray to help the screws go in without splitting the wood. I would give it more stars but we spent over 50$ on new bolts because they all started to strip. Also be aware that a twin bed fits but it will have good sized gaps and does not fit tightly into the frame, I cut a pool noodle to fit the gaps so that her favorite toys stopped getting lost. Also ours did not come with enough of the little wood nubs that help hold and align the pieces. This takes atleast 2 people to put together. I would buy again but I do think with the price of this bed the bolts should be better.

I was ready to "office space" this thing mid-build1) the instructions are confusing af2) the material is cheap af3) make sure you have some super glue handy bc any little knock/bang and boom it cracks4) i left a message for customer service and have yet to hear from themguess we'll see how long the frame lasts

Like many have said, it is pretty once assembled.Assembling it was not very easy, mostly because some of the predrilled holes are too small for the screws provided. It uses these long hex screws and they are very soft. After stripping a couple of them trying to hand tighten using the provided hex key, I gave up on using them and used my own deck screws. I had to widen some of the holes using a drill. Also the paint job was not very thorough. There were a few spots where the paint didn't cover or dripped. It took around 2 hours to assemble everything. The bed feels pretty sturdy and looks good once assembled.I put in a 8 inch memory foam mattress in it, but I think 10 or 12 inch mattress might look a little better.Pro tip: Get hex bits and use a power drill. you really don't want to hand tighten all these screws with a hex key. Trust me.Read more

Bought our daughter this bed in Dec. She is still transitioning to a big bed so she rarely uses this. The framework is so cheap the wood is cracking already. It’s not sturdy. It took a couple hours to put together, including creating holes the manufacturer didn’t finish. Wasted 340 bucks. Don’t do it.

Questions & Answers

Do I need a box spring for this bed or not? Two different sections contradict one another. One says no and the other says yes.
No Boxspring is needed. The frame is perfect for Toddlers. My grandson os Autistic and loves his bed. Its low. No worrying about them hitting the floor. The guards are perfect and the style is cute. We added string lights for extra comfort while sleeping. All is needed is a standard mattress.

Can we build this so that it only has 3 sides? We have twins so they need to both climb out without pushing aside one another lol
I don’t think so

Its compact size makes it ideal for single sleepers may it be children or an adult living in a small space such as a studio apartment. It’s an affordable and versatile bed set up for various sleepers such as toddlers and college student in the dorm. For over several decades it has been one of the most popular beds among college students and young children in their early teens as you can find it in most of their bedrooms, however in this modern age where people are seeking for more comfort and space, the popularity of twin beds is been over taken by queen size beds. Despite being great for growing children it’s also very flexible and versatile especially if you are trying to maximize the space in your bedroom.

Brown

Even though brown is not the most obvious color to use when decorating your bedroom. A Brown bed’s warmth nook makes it worth incorporating in to your bedroom. And the fact that you would never expect to see a brown bed or bedroom décor makes it perfect for anyone who loves experimenting on colors and doesn’t like using playful pastels and bright neon’s. To avoid it from being swallowed into the dark bedroom interior, it’s recommended to be used in a bedroom with bright interior colors that bring about more lighting, which is a rich tone up especially to the brown bed and in the process creating another element intrigue. A brown bed is the only way to tone down a bright bedroom interior without having to repaint the walls.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. If you have an extra budget for a custom-made bed, ask your little one how he would like for it to look like. A car? A train? A spaceship? A dollhouse? Or if you can, build the bed yourself! Bed Frames

Bed frames also known as bed steads are terms used to describe the support your mattress rests upon. It’s that part of your bed that holds up your mattress from the floor. A bed frame is one of the most overlooked part of a bed when making a bed purchase as most people tend to focus on the mattress alone, however, it’s good to note that bedframes play a crucial role when it comes to the comfort of your bed. The right bed frame provides you with enough comfort and support despite the type of mattress you are sleeping on, so if you have a bed that’s squeaking, sagging, or unstable the problem is usually your bed frame. As we all know a good night sleep starts with a solid foundation, a bedframe will impact the quality of sleep you get, a bed frame will even cause back pains and aches.

Most bed are usually a single mattress and a fixed frame, however there are other varieties such as a sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa or a murphy bed that folds in to a wall. Other beds can be referred as temporary beds as they contain neither a bedframe nor a mattress, a good example is the inflatable air mattress or the folding camp cot.

Pine

Do you love a rustic, classic bedroom style? A pine wood bed frame should be at the top of your shopping list! Pine wood is a softwood variety, meaning it is well-suited for use in both indoor and outdoor furniture because of its durability. Pine is a shock-resistant wood that is strong and long-lasting and is well-suited for crafting ornate and intricate details; this only adds more beauty to your home! Espresso Wood

When talking about coffees, espresso is the strong black one. In furniture and woods, it is actually somewhat similar to that. Espresso is a deep, dark brown color, so dark that it is sometimes mistaken to be jet black when, in fact, it stands between the two colors. If you want your bed to look elegant, go for espresso wood. It will also appear neat because dark color can magically tuck away dirt and dust. When under direct lighting, espresso gives out red hues. Cabinets, tables, and shelves that are in espresso sell more than those in light colors because many people opt for a traditional and classic look. Because of its neutral color, espresso is very versatile. It can go well with any home color scheme and design style. Since it's not black and definitely not a bright color, espresso can be pleasing and gentle to the feeling and to the eyes. It can also make you feel relaxed because of its soothing and coffee-like color, perfect after a long day at work.

Espresso may also be your favorite drink! You will definitely wake up feeling energized just by seeing your bed.
