Love this Murphy Chest Bed. Great for out of town company and then fold it up and my wife has her sewing room back. Very strong and good quality. It is very easy to pull out and set up. It has a charging station which is an added plus.

Met all of my expectations. Was in good condition when we got it, easy to put together. Haven't slept on it yet but the mattress passed the quicky lay on it test. Have had many compliments on the looks of the cabinet.

Ordered this for our guest bedroom with limited space. Works perfectly, looks great, and is very comfortable. Was fairly easy to assemble but definitely need two people to handle larger pieces. All in All a great purchase.

The bed itself is everything I thought it would be. However, the customer service is horrible. I contacted them on 9/16 re: missing door handle screws and have yet to hear from them. Also called on 9/24 (follow up) & emailed on 10/1.

Seems like a good product for the price. It really hasn't been used yet. However, it does about 4 hours to put together.

Great product. The only thing is I wish the mattress was a bit firmer so you didn’t feel the boards it sits on.

For a space saving piece of furniture this is quite bulky and looked awkward in my tiny guest .Other than that it looked nice but had a few nicks here and there .I ended up returning it because of the nice and it’s size and was impressed with Home Depot’s return policy sending people out to my home.

Cheaply made for sure, but I guess it's what you pay for. Mattress is firm and it's harder than average to pull out the bed.

Is it possible to replace the mattress with another of better quality if necessary? Just any 6" m...
It would have to be a foldable mattress replacement. There is additional room for a mattress pad to stay on but it will be tight if a thick one. I would say 3” total free space when the mattress is folded.

Is it possible to replace the mattress with another of better quality if necessary? Just any 6" m...
Hi Jenn, we include a folding mattress for your convenience. We do not recommend replacing this with a non-folding third party mattress, as this would compromise the ability of the bed to fold into the cabinet. Additionally, you would have to remove a pillow top mattress pad on this mattress before storing it back in the cabinet.

These variations include an Olympic queen sized bed which has 6 extra inches on its width and a California queen which has 4 extra inches in length. A queen size bed will fit perfectly well in large bedrooms and smaller bedrooms.

Gray

Gray as a color can be somehow depressing and uninspiring especially in a darker bedroom, and as you already know sleeping in a gray bedroom is not as satisfying as sleeping in a brighter bedroom. Gray might not be as inviting as other colors but that doesn’t mean that a Gray bed is not a good choice for your bedroom. All you need to know before choosing a gray bed or any other no so bright colored bed is which bedroom décor is the best for that specific bed color. With a gray bed it can be really advantageous especially if you have an all-white bedroom since it will tone down the general look for your bedroom, creating some form of contrast. In case you have a bright bedroom and you wish to tone down I would definitely recommend for you a gray bed to help tone down your bedroom décor.

Drawers

A cluttered bedroom is not pleasing and relaxing at all. Sometimes, though your things are well-organized, seeing them still makes your space crowded. Two options are available: throw away your stuff or upgrade your regular bed into a drawer or storage bed. For sure, you will choose the latter, right?

Space-saving and multifunctional, drawer beds can make you feel like you don't need shelves and cabinets anymore. They come with 2 drawers, 4 drawers, 2 full and 2 half drawers, or end drawers built in the bed frame. Full ottoman and half ottoman are also available, where the entire bed offers hidden storage space. Drawer beds can also benefit your stuff since they are hidden, they won't accumulate dust. Finding them can also be easy for you because you have just one place to look at. After all, a tidy room can make your sleep better and more comfortable. And, yes, there's no such thing as too much storage.

Folding

If you're the one who lives somewhere with spatial constraints and wants to get the most from it, a folding bed is the fitting sleeping furniture for you. A folding, or fold-up, bed consists of a mattress and a frame that collapses and turns it into a portable piece, making it easy to put away when not in use. But before buying, consider these different folding bed types and weigh which is best suited to your home situation.

A murphy bed, also known as a "wall bed" or "hidden bed," looks like a typical bed; however, it can be folded up into the wall or a furniture. Usually comes with wheels, a rollaway folding bed can be very comfortable, but to replace its mattress can be expensive since it should be specially made to fold with the frame. Sofabed and bed couch or floor sofabed are space-saving and can be easily turned into a seat or a bed. If sleeping on the floor is not an issue for you, you may ought to buy a futon. It's portable and extremely good for saving space. Lastly, a camping cot is also a good option, especially if you love the great outdoors. Whichever the type you choose, surely you'll love and utilize your living space even more.

The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress.
