We are really happy with our purchase. It is extremely sturdy and of very good quality. The way they have the slats set up actually gave the bed (mattress) a stronger base. We still put a Bunkie board down to be on the safe side. Actually my husband put down 1/4 to 1/2 inch plywood and called it a Bunkie board. On Assembly: 1. Each part has a letters printed on a sticker for each. They need to put a new ribbon in the printer because the O, Q, C, and the T, I, L all looked alike. So you need to look a little closer to make sure you have the right piece and match it to the picture.. You may not have this problem.2. The hole that the "barrel nut" goes into needs to be cleaned out. It is left over saw dust but it makes the barrel nut sit at an angle. . We just ran a flat head screw driver around the inside of each hole and we were good.3. If you use a straight Allen Wrench and put it in a drill, it goes a lot quicker (per my husband), Be careful not to strip the Allen head screws (per the wife).Instruction manual says it takes 45 MINUTES to put together. Really??? Took us 3-5 hours from start to finish, Couldn't be happier with our purchase,

Ordered the triple bunk and it came from Washington to eastern Massachusetts. And all we had was a small chunk missing from one of the boards that went to create the headboard or footboard. But I gorilla glued it back together and you can't even tell.Very sturdy for a 3 tier bunk bed. The build was easy well that's what my husband said!! The only thing about the build is that in box 1 of 2 it should have said something about if building the triple bunk use instructions in box 2 of 2. But other than that I love the bed my kids love the bed and our dog loves it

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Okay now! We love it! It sturdy! It has ALL AND EXTRA HARDWARE. All pieces came. The woods a tiny imperfections. Delivery guys were great ! Now what you want to know! I Put this together alone, I’d tell you if you could to have an able helper!! It took me six plus hours to do so. It wasn’t hard to put together but when your distracted by three kids, It’s kinda stressful. So it is very simple to put together once you get the hang of it. It comes in two boxes and they are slim. You could call this a BunkBedSlim; My Kiddos are almost 10 and 8 and they fit well. We love it ! It’s exactly what we could have imagined but more as my Girlie said! There’s a one year Warranty as well. They also say they will replace any missing parts for free. I was too scared before ordering because of the comments but I’m glad I listened to myself.Read more

The bunk beds are very nice for the price. We recently downsized and my kids decided they wanted to “bunk” together. I looked at a ton of options and they decided on these. Originally, my teenagers fought over who would get top bunk and after seeing them together, my daughter decided the bottom bunk was way cooler.Anyway, I like the low design of the beds. If my kids were younger, it would make tucking the kid into the top a breeze, I plan to keep them after the kids leave for the purpose of the littler nieces and nephews for when they visit. I assembled them alone and the only issue I really ran into is assembling the side rails. There are 3 pieces and you have to hold them all together to slide them into the headboard and footboard on each side. It just took a little finesse and about 1 hour of my time.I (and my kids) would recommend this bed to anyone looking for an affordable bunk bed. I topped each one with a Linenspa 8 inch hybrid mattress.

This bed is a beast. It was not easy to put together, but with 3 beds we didn’t expect it to be. My kids have nicknamed it the “tribunk bed”. It is very sturdy, and the paint looks great (no chipping). My only complaint is only one box arrived, and it took several calls to get it figured out. Not sure how a box that big and heavy got lost. But the company was easy to work with and they sent out the missing parts right away. I’m very happy with it, we get a lot of compliments on it. We use thin mattresses, so we put down thin boards from Home Depot to go under them, the slats are kind of far apart and I was worried a kid would push through. But overall great bed, and great customer service.

Very sturdy but not so bulky that it takes up the whole room. Love the color options! So tired of just plain wood. I added some particao board that I painted to protect the matress from the child underneath & to give it a flatter surface to lay on. My only complaint which, I mean its kinda obvious, theres not alot of head space in the 2 below. My kid wacks her head on those levels a lot so... Make sure theyre tiny & careful!

I was skeptical to buy this because of some of the bad reviews, but I had to get something and this looked like the best thing on Amazon. I'm so glad I did! Looks incredible and is very well-made. My boys love it. And there is absolutely no weird smell as others have mentioned. This will take at least two people to assemble and about 2-3 hours. Wasn't difficult.

Easy to put together. We were missing 5 parts, got a hold of customer service and they were sent right away....very helpful! Downside--Ladder to the top bunk has 2 steps that are flush up against the middle and top bunk.....so childs foot is not centered on step and they are just using thier toes to climb.

We really like the beds. They are a great fit for our boys. However, the slats to support the mattress are too few with too wide of gaps. We added a sheet of plywood to provide more support for the mattresses.

Okay, the lack of 5 stars is a big part of Amazon We ordered this item and was told it would be two weeks. No problem, it's a big item, I get it. We even scheduled a pick up date.I took time out of work to make sure I was home during pick up date. waited....waited...waited...Never showed up.I called Amazon and was informed it never shipped. After a LONG back and forth with amazon we finally had to purchase it again...even though they couldn't cancel the first one because it was stuck in a limbo of pending shipping- where they claimed they didn't have it yet the shipping company hadn't taken possession of it.Waited ANOTHER 2 weeks because apparently asking for a little faster shipping after a huge inconvenience was "going too far".Finally did arrive, but only after we reorder, tracked it every step of the way, and called each person in each process to make sure it actually was there.A MONTH AFTER RECEIVING THE SECOND ONE ORDERED the first one shows up at our doorstep! Even though it had been canceled at this point. Where it had been for the last two months, I have no idea. Clearly, their method of shipping large things has major issues. So if you are willing to fight through those issues and wait twice as long as should be...totally get this. The bed itself came in two boxes. the boxes were a little banged up on the outside, which did translate to a few dents here and there in the wood, but there was no way in heck I was going to send it back. I think the problem is the packing method. Not a lot of styrofoam just wood that butts right up to the box.Assembly wise: it wasn't crazy hard. In fact, I did about 60% of it by myself. The direction isn't the best to understand but once you get it for one, you just basically repeat for the others. Unfortunately, the directions are based on an alphabet system that is supposed to be on the wood. About half of our wood didn't have any stickers (not including the slats). So there was a lot of matching pieces to each other to try and figure out what letter it was supposed to be. Not impossible but just annoying and time-wasting.It is very sturdy except for one aspect...that NEARLY BROKE MY DAUGHTERS ARM!! The slats are designed to go in not laying flat so that the most wood is covering the mattress, but on their sides so that it's basically like a one-inch rail in increments along the bed. I didn't think it really mattered until she tried to climb into one of the upper bunks. Because they are narrow, and the bed is just slightly longer than a standard twin mattress, as soon as she used her arm and put pressure on the mattress to climb from the latter to the bed the mattress slipped right through the thin rail taking almost all her body with it. Luckily she didn't fall all the way through. It is a huge flaw though and we have had to put a wood sheet board between the slats and the mattress to keep it from happening again. To have to buy something extra to make this product safe, pretty much drops it's rating in my books pretty significantly. I am super bummed about the slat problem, because otherwise it is a pretty sturdy product with good quality wood.Read more

How is the triple bunk only 47.5 inches tall? That doesn't seem like it would even fit three bunks.
The height is approximately 77 inches.

Does this require anchoring to the wall?
I would recommend it if your kids are likely to hang from the outside however, I have not anchored it and it has never even rocked.
