Okay, I will say that most of the reviews on this bed scared me at first, and I almost didn’t make the purchase, but after rereading the positive reviews and figuring out what got the people mad in the bad reviews. I when ahead and bought it.I will admit that this bed was not a super easy put together in 5 minutes item, but it wasn't as difficult as everybody made it sound. it took me in a friend approximately three and a half hours to put it together. We did have to read the instructions very carefully several times had to and figure out what the instructions meant in some of the pictures. But all in all It was a great experience if it's like putting together a jigsaw puzzle and just want to say the finished product turned out great. I love this bed. I have to give it a 5-star rating because of the way it looks. I’ve no issues in regards to Quality, I know exactly what it is made of and have read all the specs on it.Once I put it together and I put my mattress on it and I actually lay down on it and within 20 minutes of it being put together and I slept like a baby. So Kudos Amazon this was a great choice of a product offering, so I give it a 5-star rating.PS I also bought the matching Headboard as well.

I almost didn't buy this after reading the negative reviews, but I read through quite a bit of them, and after hearing the tips about how others have reinforced it, I headed to Home Depot, picked up some supplies, and went ahead and ordered. As is, no, this bed won't hold up. What I did, though, was pick up some Titebond III, a whole bunch of metal L brackets, some felt, and reinforced the living daylights out of it. I put the wood glue in EVERY hole during assembly, as well as painted it onto each screw. Once it was all put together, I added 16 L brackets to the frame; 2 at the top and bottom of each corner, and one on each side of the two middle supports, where the drawers go. I just held them in place, marked the holes, and pre-drilled pilot holes.People were also complaining about the slats not staying in place, and being too noisy, so I bought an entire bolt of thicker felt and glued it to the inside of the metal brackets where the slats sit, and also cut a large piece to cover the slats with (to quiet them, and also to keep the loose splinters from tearing up the underside of my mattress), and I tacked those down with flat head thumb tacks. Our bed frame is sturdy, we're able to reposition the bed without the drawers falling out or the bed frame becoming 'unsquared', and the only noise the bed makes is during, uhhhh.... bedtime fun, if the frame knocks against the matching headboard. The only complaint people had that I've not yet been able to solve is the gap between the frame and the matching headboard, although I'm thinking of adding a sort of mesh 'hammock' because a.) you won't be able to see it with the pillows on the bed, and b.) if you drop anything down there, it's a NIGHTMARE to get it back. With all that said, this is not a bed frame for people who plan on moving a lot (the reinforcements kinda negate disassembly), people who rearrange their room often, or for people who don't want to take the extra steps/spend the extra money to make it work. All the pieces arrived in perfect condition, and with all the necessary hardware. I'm a 5' 5", 115 pound female, so I had to open the boxes outside and carry the pieces in, but I assembled this entire frame, the matching headboard, and 2 matching end tables completely by myself over the span of 3 days. The directions weren't too bad to work with, you'll just need to GO SLOW, READ ALL THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY, and sort/label all the parts and hardware before you get started. It looks great, and it's the EXACT bed frame/headboard I wanted, so the extra work/cost was worth it to me.Read more

We put the bed together on January 2018. I loved the storage, and although it did feel slightly insecure, I trusted most of the reviews.Well, after 2 months in the bed had a crack on all 4 corners! It would rock back and forth with the slightest movement. I was afraid to move or get up too quickly. We finally threw it away, as the bed was leaning firmware and would completely break anytime. It cost us almost $500! We went to the local store and in the clearance section were able to get a bed and a dresser for $800 (wooden, high quality).I know the 12 drawers seem amazing, but the bed will not last. :(I hate the fact that I wasted all that money on trash.

Cheapest material I've seen for such an expensive bed.The bed pretty much broke while I was assembling it.DO NOT BUY!The process of getting furniture online took me nearly 2 months (at first only 1/2 boxes shipped). So I slept with my bed on the floor for that time. Then, after I finally get everything together, this bed breaks while I am assembling it. I'm gonna go to IKEA and use this as firewood unfortunatelyBTW, with regards to the pictures. Those are three pictures of three DIFFERENT places that the frame crapped out on me. Not three different angles of the same problem. DONT BUY

King

A king size bed is the largest standard bed that you will find in the market plus it measures 76 inches by 80 inches, making it a great and popular choice among couple. Single sleepers with the proper finances also enjoy the luxury and comfort of having a huge bed all to themselves. The King Size bed also comes in different variations which are the California size bed that’s 4 inches longer than a normal king size bed and 4 inches narrower, another variation is the California king size bed, the ideal choice if you are sharing your bed with someone who is more than 6 feet tall. If you are couple looking for a bed with extra comfort and space for the both of you I would highly recommend the King size bed as it’s a combination of unmatched comfort and luxury.

Black

When trying to open up a smaller bedroom most people often think about bright colors with light hues, but also there is a stronger advantage for going darker and there is no better way to do that than with a black bed. Black is known to amplify small spaces and also set the right mood in your bedroom space. A black colored bed makes your bedroom fell more intimate and special in ways that you could have never imagined before, something that you would never achieve with any of those bright colors. There is nothing as important as setting the right mood in your bedroom especially if you are a couple since it’s the base of your relationship romantically. A black bed adds a touch of intrigue but still blends right into the bedroom décor colors creating a timeless look.

Drawers

A cluttered bedroom is not pleasing and relaxing at all. Sometimes, though your things are well-organized, seeing them still makes your space crowded. Two options are available: throw away your stuff or upgrade your regular bed into a drawer or storage bed. For sure, you will choose the latter, right?

Space-saving and multifunctional, drawer beds can make you feel like you don't need shelves and cabinets anymore. They come with 2 drawers, 4 drawers, 2 full and 2 half drawers, or end drawers built in the bed frame. Full ottoman and half ottoman are also available, where the entire bed offers hidden storage space. Drawer beds can also benefit your stuff since they are hidden, they won't accumulate dust. Finding them can also be easy for you because you have just one place to look at. After all, a tidy room can make your sleep better and more comfortable. And, yes, there's no such thing as too much storage.

Platform

You may be looking for a bed that is timeless and cost-effective and maybe your life quote is "simplicity is beauty," then you can swear by platform beds. A platform bed is a simple bed frame that has a solid foundation capable to hold any type of mattress without the need of a box spring. It also comes with built-in slats to allow airflow and breathability. And since box springs are unnecessary, you can save money if you decide to buy a new mattress.

Though simple, it doesn't mean that this type of bed is boring. Platform beds come from various materials, such wood, metal, and fiberboard. You may even have them upholstered for an added classic touch! Ideal for all ages, they are also available in different sizes: twin, full, queen, and king. Interestingly, platform beds are great for storing extra stuff since many of them come with drawers and headboard shelving, perfect for keeping your bedroom tidy.

Storage Included

When your bedroom space is small storage can be the biggest challenge you will encounter. Your closet could be a solution but not big enough to pack so many clothes. Well, you may want to buy a bigger cabinet, but you don’t want to pack so many dressers and cabinets into your space that it feels clunky and crowded. Storage beds are a fantastic way to get more space without adding extra furniture, and a lot of them are so stylishly designed you almost don’t notice the drawers are there. This bed design offers a great way to make the most of the space in your room, giving you a place to stash clothes, bedding, and more inside or beneath your bed frame. The best storage beds feature spacious compartments that are easy to access, and with tons of styles to choose from. The most common options are shelves built into the headboard or drawers built into the frame below the mattress. Depending on the reason you want space, a storage bed provides easy access, but if you're storing items that you don't need to get to very often, you can opt for a spacious platform beneath the bed that can be accessed when you lift the mattress. Ultimately, your choice will come down to what's most convenient for you.

One of reason to why metal beds have grown in popularity over the last couple of years is the fact that they require less maintenance since as we all know metal does not dent or scratch easily making it even a more attractive option as compared to wooden and plastic beds. When it comes to durability also metal beds are currently the most durable beds in the market more durable than the wooden beds and would even handle more weight than a wooden bed frame. Not only is the cherry wood finish a traditional selection and very aesthetically pleasing, it is extremely strong and durable. The rich color of cherry wood is an ideal choice for larger bedrooms, as the darker color can create a large focal point within the room. Hardwoods

Hardwood wood varieties refer to the type of tree the wood is taken from; it has nothing to do with how heavy or dense the wood is (contrary to popular belief!). Hardwood woods are sourced from trees that have leaves and lose their leaves in the winter months. Types of hardwood trees include hickory, maple, oak, birch and cherry (among others). Wood from hardwood trees is usually harder and therefore more dense, as these trees tend to grow at a slower rate. Hardwood is ideal for use in indoor furniture crafting, as it is sturdy and durable. Most hardwood varieties are bright and beautiful in their natural tone/shade, but many take well to staining, finishes and paints. The hardwood varieties offer a cozy, warm look and enrich your bedroom style. Hardwood bed frames are a great way to brighten your bedroom and enhance the overall look and feel of your sleep space!

Espresso Wood

When talking about coffees, espresso is the strong black one. In furniture and woods, it is actually somewhat similar to that. Espresso is a deep, dark brown color, so dark that it is sometimes mistaken to be jet black when, in fact, it stands between the two colors. If you want your bed to look elegant, go for espresso wood. It will also appear neat because dark color can magically tuck away dirt and dust. When under direct lighting, espresso gives out red hues. Cabinets, tables, and shelves that are in espresso sell more than those in light colors because many people opt for a traditional and classic look. Because of its neutral color, espresso is very versatile. It can go well with any home color scheme and design style. Since it's not black and definitely not a bright color, espresso can be pleasing and gentle to the feeling and to the eyes. It can also make you feel relaxed because of its soothing and coffee-like color, perfect after a long day at work.

Espresso may also be your favorite drink! You will definitely wake up feeling energized just by seeing your bed.
